DETAILED BACKGROUND OF THE AARG

OUR AIM

Connecting Africans across the continent to build one solid vision of a self-reliant and independent Africa, through Intra-Afrikan trade.

VISION: To be the preferred intra-Afrikan trade community platform on the Afrikan continent,

MISSION: To facilitate the growth of Rastafari and Afrikan-owned enterprises by providing an enabling economic ecosystem to gain market exposure and expand their client base. To be a catalyst to inclusive economic growth on the Afrikan continent by connecting pan-African enterprises to capital, skills and market opportunities.

OUR STORY

The All-Afrika Rastafari Gathering was founded on 2 November 2017 in Ethiopia, by the Rastafari Continental Council, a coming together of diverse Rastafari presence across the continent for united Afrikan development. The AARG conference and exhibition is aimed at promoting, facilitating and advancing intra-Afrikan trade among the Pan-Afrikan community for the establishment of a self-reliant Afrikan nation.

The intra-Afrikan trade conference was initially envisioned by the Ancient Elders of the Rastafari Faith, as a means of engaging all Rastafari worldwide on collective security and economic emancipation that begins in Afrika.

Now on its fourth year, the conference has grown in attendance and boasts among its host cities the likes of South Afrika and now Tanzania, and looks forward to making it around the continent as one of its primary objectives.

RCC TRADE COMMISSION

The mandate of the RCC Trade Commission is as follows:

1. Establishing a directory of products and markets available in member s states and in the diaspora and disseminating the information via the REDD Pages.

2. Compile a directory of the protocols and standards involved in intra-African trade and with the African diaspora.

3. Organizing trade exhibitions during the RCC Summit in coordination with the Chairperson.

4. Compile a REDD Pages of all Rastafari Business and professionals on the continent.

5. Facilitating the design of an AARG Trade App for smartphones.

6. Supporting and developing the marketing research team.

7. Research, develop and implement the marketing strategy aligned with the organization’s objectives.

8. Identifying risk and/or recommending business opportunities for brand and trade purposes.

9. Developing innovative research methodologies to drive business improvement.
